Ok, so let me get this straight. When you kill a person, a health kit falls out from them, somehow they have a healthkit in them, but they can't use it. To me, that just doesn't make sense. Why don't you just switch it back to the old way where you spawned with a health kit, and if you used it and died, no one can pick it up, because it's not there! And if the other guy doesn't use it, and he dies, you can pick it up, his loss, your gain. It's essentially the same thing that is going on now, except it makes more sense.

pushing H is far too complicated, especially when you're busy trying to follow the built in happy mod to the enemy flag carrier.

Yeah all "H" does is make me radar go crazy!
To your point...think on the flip side. It is like YAHOO!! I get health everytime I make a kill. Makes you last longer in the battlefield. I have found while capping, if I miss my run. A n00b wandering around away from the base with a fat and juicy healthpack waiting for me can make the difference if I get to make another run on the flag or not. I say its says.

If the game is "feature complete" than I think it's too late to ask for a Rep. kit. No?

They actually have the ability to do this very easily. In 03 and 04 (i think 04 at least) you could type UseHealthKit into the console and it would use the health kit just like in T1/T2. When you died you wouldn't drop it either. You could also set it up on a bind by manually editing User.ini.
They disabled it in 05 though so don't bother trying. Otherwise I wouldn't be telling you. I never actually used it because that'd be pretty cheap, but it's in there.

I like the current method more than having a healthkit.
Honest.

I actually like the new health-kit system. It means the more skilled players get to live longer in the field. I always thought the old health-kit system was somewhat stupid because it was essentially bonus health, no one didn't use their kit before they died. You might as well have just ripped out the health kit and tacked it on to the health bar.
This is one of the major changes in T:V that I'm extremely pleased with.

exactly, the better you are at fighting, the longer you survive, I love this idea

Ah but if you got killed in a one shot deal like snipe or mortar then ur pack is available. That and if you forget to hit the key while in battle. No personally I think they should include it.
