Heavy's limited to 3 weapons? Switch to weapon when no ammo?

Why do they only have three weapon slots? and how come I can switch to a gun if I have no ammo? what's the Pont of that? Also how do I drop a gun in the inventory station? Do you go faster with the fewer amount of weapons, or is TV different?

hmm good point about the switching to weapons without ammo. I too would like for that not to happen.

Well if you can switch to it you can drop it easier if need be.

i don't get it, how do you plan on dropping an empty weapon if you can't switch to it?

How about a "next weapon/previous weapon" bind not "roll" onto an empty weapon, but a keypress selection can bring up an empty weapon?

That's a solid suggestion. Is this something that can be made w/ scripts? I never followed exactly what will be and won't be scriptable....

Another option would be like the auto reload option for other games (ut2k4).

by default leave this option off (don't switch to an empty weapon). But when checked, you don't switch to an empty weapon when you cycle through your guns. In order to get a empty gun you need to press the key bind that the weapon slot or gun is bound to.

Or possible to have the option to drop a gun by pressing two keys. like ctrl+1 drops weapon slot #1 or gun #1.

Just an idea.
