Writer 08-31-2004, 01:53 PM bump for KP Ending 08-31-2004, 02:01 PM A few people in CO have said the same thing about "I can't move sideways very well." Well, my personal experience is that I can do most horizonal moves well enough... A boost in the movement would be interesting since it would make lights even harder to hit then they are already. Chaingun does OK damage, odd disc hits, and sometimes the rockets / buckler hit but you don't think that boost giving a light would make it even harder to kill them? Everyone dies TOO much at this point. Combat consists of 8 MAs each, so I'd think anything that makes things harder to hit will slow the 'pace of combat' down and make it more a thinking game than a twitch reflex kind of thing. In response to those whoever said "So i have to hold a key down to use Writer's system?" No, you dont, the genius of it is that there are duel key binds (aka jump/jet combo) that would hold they key down FOR YOU, without you even really knowing it. Only until they run out of energy, and if they don't do it right, they're going to be more vulnerable than they are now. Sanchez 08-31-2004, 02:17 PM at the moment, no matter what direction you press, you are getting a very large amount of upward momentum, with very little directional motion. this to me doesnt feel like freedom of movement. I know it can be improved, as TR2 physics were quite good ;) | ||
