just a little sound like T2 had to notify you that a flag was dropped would be nice.. The only notification we get now is in the kill hud thing, and when there's action going on that's really hard to notice

(Who has the flag, if the flag is in the field or at home, and how long until it will automatically return.) Sorry if this was answered before, figured it went with the topic. -Bane 08-29-2004, 06:53 PM just a little sound like T2 had to notify you that a flag was dropped Also, I'm sure it was mentioned before but how about a flag status hud? :signed: Vyrticl 08-29-2004, 07:20 PM There is a sound when the flag is dropped. Although if you don't know what to listen for you'll probably never hear it, heh. It's volume is really low, they should increase it. Helado 08-29-2004, 07:21 PM The current sound sounds like the hit notification in T2 Classic. Just a short little armor plink. IrritAnt 08-29-2004, 07:24 PM There is a flag drop sound - it's a sort of clunk like someone dropping a wobbling metal pipe - that's a very bad description, but you know what I mean :) I'll log that the sound needs to be louder. poisonspider 08-29-2004, 07:27 PM :yes please: Tessio 08-29-2004, 08:02 PM Any thoughts on the flag status hud (or lack thereof), Ant? Would be much appreciated. Da_Timsta 08-29-2004, 08:05 PM Now that you're at it you may need to tweak the audible for when your pack is recharged. I  that it's there, but it tends to blend into the background and I miss it. Trevelyan 08-29-2004, 08:19 PM Also, I'm sure it was mentioned before but how about a flag status hud? Oh please please PLEASE!!! add this!! I hardly pay attention to the announcer when I have the flag cause I'm listening for where the action is coming at me from and what kind of action (weapon) is firing at me. I had the flag a few times for over 15 seconds without realizing the flag was back. Someone had to tell me (embarrassing). Would be a nice feature. Da_Timsta 08-29-2004, 08:21 PM Yea there is, but it is very sutle. Breadman86 08-29-2004, 08:21 PM There is a sound... I actually do notice it, haha, but I forgot what it sounded like. bah. jotun 08-31-2004, 10:40 PM ok, the problem isn't that the sound isn't loud enough... it's that it has nothing to distinguish it from anything else. It's just this "clank" sound that could just as easily be coming from someone firing a grapple or part of a weapon firing sound... Outlaw. 08-31-2004, 11:05 PM I'll log that the sound needs to be louder. louder and more distinct would be awesome. ;) Macros 08-31-2004, 11:30 PM There's a sound for that? You can hear it over and over by getting your loadout over and over at the station. | ||
