Removing Home Search HiJacker on WinME [Archive]

The Home Search removal tool only works for win2k and XP. It says on some sites it is for all WinOS but on the authors website it only gives the 2 OS's. I tried the program anyway and it of course does not work. Iv'e tried all usual ways of removal and even went through and manually deleted 25k worth of 0kb files made by the adware in the windows,windows/system folder. Deleted anything I could find of it in regedit and ran all of these in safe mode also. Does anyone know how to remove this?

I don't know if CWShredder works on that specific one, but it works on a lot of the nearly impossible to get ones. So you might want to try that, just google it.
