[Feedback] Opening screen fps...

I get about 10fps less with the opening screen (probably due to the clouds) than I do INGAME. also im sure its the same for everyone but the top cloud layer is offset 50% to the left.

If you care:
amd xp 2.1ghz
gf4 4200ti 64mb
512mb ddr 3200
1024x768x32

Also just as an example I get 30fps in the opening menu, and I get 40-50fps ingame.

In UT2k4 I got 160-250fps in the menu. :grimreape

The clouds are a special benchmarking feature where you don't actually have to join a server to find out your system can't handle the game. If the clouds stutter, just hit quit!!

I know it doesnt effect game play, but doesnt that tell you that the menu isnt really optimized.

What I'm saying is..Why would the menu have to be optimized? Who cares? Other than extremely anal people, I mean. It so does not matter if your FPS are "low" in the freaking menu system. :lol:

Actually, I /do/ think it's quite a feature. You can estimate how your game will perform under stress. And if you get some jerkiness in the main menu... who cares?

Ingame - 70fps
