System Freezing (Not inventory related)

It could happen anywhere while doing anything. My game would either turn BLACK or everything besides the terrain and the FFI's would show. I could still move around and shoot people, then it would slowly come to a hault. I could NOT alt+tab out and had to reboot about 5 times. This would usualy happen after an hour or more of play. Happend on winter lake and the cave but I dont think it matters what map.

Okay I've logged this but without more information on the possible cause there's not alot we can do... If I find anything out I'll post it here.

Ive never had this issue with ut2k4, why in the hell should i have to upgrade when Im prefectly fine atm.
