I have a canon i250, and ever since i formatted my HDD i cant get the damn thing installed. I have all the latest drivers and what not. When i run the canon software, it never makes a connection with the printer.
Also when i plug in the usb line, it makes 3 of the same tones real fast. (not the good usb conductivity sound)
In divice manager when i plug in the printer under USB controller, a new entry appears called USB printing support and there is an exclamation mark over it, and when i pull the usb plug out, it dissapears. so windows must know its a printer.
Please help guys, im pulling my hair out.
UPDATE: the printer works fine, my friend hooked it up to his mac and it worked no problem. :(
