[Feedback] Why do i have to pick my spawn when there is only one available?

I'm just wondering.

And also, i seem to vaguely recall KP saying that there was going to be a quick way to spawn at the place you last spawned at or something. Did that get dropped?

Seems to me that when you die you should just respawn at the previous spawn location. If you want to spawn somewhere else, you'd hit the force respawn key and then you'd get to pick.

there should be quick spawn for veterans. like if you know their are 3 locations on a map im assuming their numbered? it would be cool to go Shift and 1 to spawn to the first one etc

agreed, I hated that in battefield, I hate it in T:V. Also they still havent fixed the spawn numbers on isle.

Agreed, I hated it in Battlefield (ok, i played it for 2 hours) and most propably i'd hate it in T:V too, so add something to ease it. (^^^)

Jeah don't like it either. On maps with a Rover it is useful but on maps like Cavern it is not. Hopefully the DEVs will change or at least will reconsider it.

There was a script you could download for RTCW that let you do just that, pick spawn without messing around with the spawn screen, just a keypress. It's a great idea. Fast-favs is also a good idea.

you can do that now. it's not as fast.

when there are multiple spawn points i don't care much, but when i have to pick "1" anyway, why make me pick at all?

That's already in the game. When I want to spawn at SP 1, I hit the 1 key. I still see the spawn map every time, but it's not a big deal.

It would be nice to pick your spawn point upon loading the map. Then if you want to change your spawn spot, you can use the CC and choose from there.
It will help keep the flow of the game going, faster respawns rock :)

I agree completely, doesn't make much sense on Cavern.

The spawn map is my least favorite new feature, I'd like to spawn quickly and if I change my mind I'll let you know, don't ask me everytime I die.
