Requirements

Well, as the open beta looms nearer, i was wondering what the minimum specs to run it will be. i havent seen any, so i figured id ask on the boards.

P4 3.9ghz 1600 fsb
GF6 1Gb onboard RAM
2 Gb PC6800 quad channel RAM

Generally, if the computer can't handle UT2k4, don't bother. Tribes: Vengeance is more graphically intense than that I think, but it's an okay guide line.

I have it running on a GF2go.. 32 meg. Lowest settings are playable. Yet the pics posted on the highest settings are amazing. Looks to actually scale down to crap setups fairly well.

would a 1.7ghz p4, 512 megs RAM, and ATI radeon 9800 pro work? the CPU speed sucks, but i dont have the money to upgrade.

yeah. Im running unreal 2004 on med settings. 1.6ghz 380...somethingmeg of RAM (not DDR) and a geforce 2 mx. So yeah... U should be good, I still get 20+ fps on that.(which is enough for me) Just remember to turn shadows off and everything seems to work one hell of alot better.

no. i got a.... complimentary version of ut2004 to see if it would run on my comp and its bugging out, some wierd lag problem. i thought it was my comp, but guess not. thanks for the help guys.

i have the beta for the ut2004 and im using a ati radeon 9200..
with 2.8ghz 512 mb ram and i dun lag in ut24k

Just remember, even if your computer is a crappy 2 year old dell. You can still run T:V in style :D
