[Bug] Jets stop Sounding

DId a search, and I didn't see anything.

Jets just stop sounding. They still work, but no sound for a small short burst, then the next tap, they do. Seems like it happens when I am jetting while hitting forward also at the same time while tapping jets.

Its random and will happen any map. It probably due to placeholder sounds maybe?

Same. It's not always limited to jets for me. Running a traditional SB Live! card.

Maybe you need to change your sound thing in the options in the game..
in T1 there is 2 types and 1 of them is direct sound you hear everything the other i dun remember but you dont hear all sounds like, When you jet you hear it for bit then it stops and it also happens to guns

I have sounds cutting out all the time despite my sound settings.

i get this same problem, even with EAX. I just assumed everyone had the same problem.

I have AUdigy2 also Win xp. Lateste Drivers. I am sure the devs can reproduce. It happens to everyone I talk to.

this started for me in 04

They obviously screwed with the sound engine in 04 because 03 sounded GREAT in surround sound mode (probably the first game that was actually convincing).
