[Bug?] Starting fullscreen..

I can't find any threads (titles) concerning this... but everytime I start up TV, if I don't click the first TV logo/load screen that comes up, it runs TV windowed. I though maybe it just wasn't saving my prefs, but it's in one of my ini files: StartupFullscreen=True

Anyways, if this has been discussed, ignore it :p

It has been logged that if something takes away focus from TV while it's loading, it gets windowed, but not that you need to click on it... Is there anything else that's running that might steal the focus away while the game is loading?

yeah, all i do is somehow click on the maximize button in the window, and its fixed. a little inconveniant perhaps, but not a game breaker.

Yeah, pretty sure it's happened to me in UT2k4 before. All I do is press Alt+Enter (common fullscreen hotkey combo), and it's back to full.

It has been logged that if something takes away focus from TV while it's loading, it gets windowed, but not that you need to click on it... Is there anything else that's running that might steal the focus away while the game is loading? At most Winamp 5.03, mIRC 6.12, and Teamspeak (newest client version).

I just tried it again, and I turned everything off (only standard services were running), and it started fullscreen. I tried it again with several problems running (mirc, winamp, aim, teamspeak, ie) and it went fullscreen. However, if i click the TV shortcut, and close an IE window (which is apparently what I've been doing... browsing TT forums, starting up TV, then before the loading screen comes up, I close TT forums)., and the game started windowed. I did it again... and it went into "windowed mode", even without me clicking anything after running TV shortcut.

I know this was probably my fault (even though it did it without me clicking anywhere after running TV) for clicking something else (or clicking at all), but shouldn't the game steal focus when it knows it's supposed to fullscreen?

And btw, when I say "windowed mode", it's not really "window mode" in which you have minimize, restore/maximize, and exit button... it's like a borderless "window" stuck in the top left corner of the screen. You have to alt+enter to get it to fullscreen.

Not a major bug or anything, but it might be something that might annoy new users, or mess up people's mouse acceleration (going windowed/fullscreen messes up mine in most games).

Vagiduz, yes, you've been switching focus during loading. Simply close this god-forsaken pile of public commentary before opening your "priveledged copy" of T:V.

It's simply consistent with the windows standards of programs. Not a bug.
