T:V DEFAULT.INI TWEAKING
T:V too slow? you want more fps? Wel, this is your lucky day!
First, please backup your default.ini before doing anything.
Open "VUGames\Tribes Vengeance\Program\Bin\def ault.ini"
In default.ini
[Engine.GameEngine]
CacheSizeMegs=#
If you got enough RAM (+256MB) in your pc, you can change this to 64 or 128. This gives a little BOOST.
[ALAudio.ALAudioSubsystem]
Channels=#
This is the number audiochannels that are used (More channels, is better Soundquality ). Normal is 32. If you lower the number you can boost your T:V. (6 Big boost, 16 Lower boost)
Watch out! Don't put it lowert then 5 , if you do sound will stop working!!!
UseDefaultDriver=#
If you got a new soundcard you can set this to false so ut uses your soundcard driver. But leave it on True if you want best performance.

HighDetailActors=#
Put this on False ->small boost. Watch out models arn't drawn perfect.
SuperHighDetailActors=#
Put this on False ->small boost. Watch out models aren't drawn perfect.
UsePrecaching=#
If you got a videocard with 64MB or more ram, you can put it on True. it will remove the shoking because textures will be preloaded
UseTripleBuffering=#
f you got a videocard with 32MB or more ram, you can put it on True-> boost. Triple Buffering prevents "screen tearing" (if you disable vsync).
ReduceMouseLag=#
standard (True). Put it on "False" gives you a big BOOST

Standard on 1. Put it on 0 and it will give you a small boost.
UseTrilinear=#
Put it on 0 and it will give you a small boost.

Putit on True it will give you a performance boost (usefull for old videocards).
