In UT2k4 this was possible. Basically, for a weapon that requires you to hold down the fire button (Flag, grappler) you would press a weapon key (say, disc) and after the action of the first weapon was complete, it would switch to the second weapon. Right now, if I were holding the flag, and tossing it, I would want to change to the grappler right after (just in case the toss misses and i need to get it back), however, at the current stage if i was holding down the flag toss button and pressed the grappler it would cancel the flags action and switch to the grappler and automagically fire at something i wouldn't want.
Can this be fixed/implemented?

Or you could bind the quick switch to grappler to a button close by. Then whenever you want to switch to it, press the button. That way you won't accidentally take out another weapon.
Even if you don't do that, if you keep the flag charged for too long it just resets anyways, so i don't really see why this would be smart to implement.

I guess I should add this here.
When you go up to the Inventory to recharge or whatever your weapon changes to the primary. I think you should exit with the same weapon you entered with. Same thing happens on the recharge station on Winter Lake.

Doesn't the command "OnRelease" work?
I'm not in the beta but in most UT games you just have to edit the user.ini to achieve this.
