I recently posted this on my Movement reply but I just wanted to make sure someone could see this.

"Hehe yea I see what your saying, in that bittah video the speed was quick, that kind of speed would be great for larger maps. Now that we know T:V will be downsized on maps to bring action quicker, I do understand why it is slown down a bit. I was just thinking about something though, OK the main issue is how skiing just slows ya down right? So maybe instead of creating a faster ski, just create a longer value on getting to idle ski time.

If what I just said didn't make sence I'll put it in simple terms-
Example:
Lets say you get 200kph in air then when you hit your ski your idle ski speed is like 130 in about 2 sec after ground impact.

Why not make the delay longer to get to the 130 kph idle ski pace. This will obviously not speed things up but make you feel like you hit your ski at the speed that you earned, also giving you more time to hit the next hill to maybe disk just instead of hitting a speed bump."

Of course these speed values are not correct but it's just an example.

Don't try to ski uphill, that is gravity right there that is.

T:V has a built in ski script, just hold the spacebar down. ;)

I agree.. its actually the reverse, jetting slows you down (going a decent speed of course)

There is a good chance you still have your key binded to "SKi/Jump" LV. That could be why you slow down while you ski. To fix this, goto the advanced tab, and change your "ski" key to Spacebar. Then change your rightmouse button to "Jump and Jet" This way, you get the full benefits from the ski'ing "Boots" and you automatically jump when you hit right mouse button.
