I'm betting that the AP rounds I showed my Uncle that he warned me about were the real deal otherwise he would not have warned me about em, and I've figured my friend is full of shit because he was talking about teflon on the round is what made em AP...
Yet some other dude here said teflon is used to make pots and pans non stick...
I'm sure I could get ahold of the real AP rounds if I really want to...But teh effort isnt worth it...
A regular 9mm hollowpoint round to the head will kill someone just as dead as any AP round...

I do not care that you have a crappy gun, or that you have no idea how to safely operate it, much less deploy it with anything resembling competence.
These things would almost be amusing if you did nothave two little kids. Kids are curious and have no concept of how permanent actions can be. If you have a gun in your house, your kids know it and if they do not, they will find it as soon as they can walk.
I live in a 1200sf apartment and I try to keep my son out of the bedroom with child proof doorknob covers and by keeping an eye on him. Even so, I would never keep anything around that could kill him for being curious. As it is, I keep my .45 in condition 3 so until he has strength enough to deal with a 17lb recoil spring (his mom has trouble cycling the weapon) then its relatively safe. Still, it is kept up high (he is only 2 and a half) and we are going to get a quick access safe in the next year or so.
You need to learn to properly secure your weapon.
The other thing that I see as likely is that you could easily shoot someone in your house. You have extremely poor or non existant trigger discipline - another by product of "I learned about guns on TV" syndrome. You keep your damn finger off the trigger ALWAYS - until you are ready to fire and that means your sights are lined up and you are ready to go. Lots of people ignore this rule and experience negligent discharges.
Do yourself and your kids a favor and go take a class or get some proper instruction - preferably from someone who has never been in handcuffs.
