Let me present you with the possible scenarios that result in a person behaving like an idiot on the forum:

A) Their forum personality reflects their IRL personality. Forum personality portrays an idiot. Thus, the person is an idiot IRL.

B) Their forum personality does NOT reflect their IRL personality. Their forum personality portrays an idiot. Why would a person come on a forum and ACT like an idiot? Conclusion: person is an idiot IRL because only an idiot would ACT like an idiot.

So you see, in EITHER CASE, the person is an idiot, logically speaking.
