I recently have recieved my new box and am trying to decide on which option i should choose. One, I can install win2k and then use my winxp cd to upgrade to winxp. Or i can spend 300 bucks for winxp pro. The winxp cd i have is of course burned and cannot be booted so that ruins my option of doing a direct winxp pro install. Is there a big difference from having a upgraded winxp and just a clean winxp install? I'm really looking for stability and if the upgrade is just as stable as installing winxp directly i can save 300 bucks.
