Are there personal waypoints in T:V like in T2. Example:
player 1 says "HELP"
player 2 says "COMMAND ACKNOWLEDGED"

player 2 can see a waypoint on player 1

Those type waypoints in T:V?

when i was looking through the ini's and some other stuff there is a comand called MarkNavigationPoint, or something like that, but it didn't seem to do anything.

Something as simple as VVH/VCA would be very useful. Then again, it might have been left out deliberately to keep people from finding ways to abuse it.

T2 being my first online FPS experience, I think it has so many awesome features that other FPS games just dont have. After playing T2 for a while I went and tried the "other" FPS' out there and wasn't impressed at all. I am one of the few who had no problems with t2 from the start and was real pleased with it for the last 3 years. The little things are what sets a game apart from the rest and T2 definitely had alot of little things. I hope T:V does as well.

Please no waypoints or beacons, thanks. I would rather not see autobeacon reappear on the scene.

Try UT2004 Onslaught. No waypoints. No beacons. Even graphics the same.

Though you can add Radar2004 and see enemies and friendlies now.

Quite useful, but no waypoints whatsoever.

I wonder if it would work to have the dots on the radar and the IFF receive colored outlines (or some other effect) for a few seconds whenever friendly players use certain voice binds...

This way you could immediately recognize who's going for the flag, who's going to be the decoy and so on.

I know i've been "noobified" by t2...but i really like having markers on pinvys. then again the maps are so much smaller in t:v, maybe it won't make that much of a difference.
