op-code 08-03-2004, 04:54 PM I don't know what the deal is, some people say the encoding is great, some say it sucks. The first xvid encoes that scar did I really like, but they had sound problems. The mpeg version are bad ass but way too big, so I was left with divx encoding.

and passing is no longer possible with a weapon selected ? Or can you only 'drop' with a weapon selected and 'throw' with the flag selected ?

op-code 08-04-2004, 12:18 PM To throw the flag you have to press the 'Equip Deployable' key. Then, you press fire to throw it. You can't have your weapon and the flag out at the same time.

Say you are farming by your base and the capper gets killed and you run away and need to pass it.

The key bindings for Deployable and Carriable are completely different. The flag and others (ball, fuel) count as a carriable. Turrets, Inv. Stations, Repair Stations, etc all count as deployables.
So, if you have a turret, you can still pick up the flag. To toss the flag, just hold your carriable button to charge the pass, then throw it.
