[T:V] Someone (windexy) warez'd the beta, now I can't play.

When I tried to connect to the DualRock T:V server, it said my CD-KEY was in valid. I preordered the game, and went to the lan, and have never had this problem before. I looked at who was playing on the server, and this struck me as weird:

I KNOW iroq@tribes is really isuk@tribes, aka windexy. He did not attend either of the Tribal-Wars lans, and has been begging me to give him the beta for quite a while.


As some of you may know, my cd-key was accidentally photographed and put up in the mass of TW:E pics. I had it taken down as soon as I saw it.


Is there any way that I can get this cd key cancelled and get another one, so that this idiot can't play with my cd key?

I was sitting next to maniac (aolhaxor) at the lan. Someone was walking down next to our isle, and was taking pics of computers. Maniac proceeds to flip off the camera, and the camera guy takes a pic of him.


My computer was in the far left side of the pic, in the unfocused foreground. The paper cd case that the play discs game in that has the cd-keys on them was on top of my computer. the flap of it (which had the cd key on it) was sticking up just enough so that someone could make out the key from the picture (it was upside down and blurry, but you could read it).


as soon as I saw it, i contacted the person who owned the site that it was on, and he removed it immediately.
