"Our very own opcode was lucky enough to be able to attend the TribalWars event this year, where he received his copy of the closed beta version of Tribes: Vengeance.

He was kind enough to produce two video clips of some of the action, one from a first-person perspective giving us a look at what the new 'LD' role might entail. And another video shot from spectator mode showing off some more spectacular action."

Update: Getting some reports in that the video is not playing 100% correctly, we are currently re-encoding the video using a different codec, so if you are not able to play these files, apologies, but keep a check-up here.

the sound seems to be fubared. the sound is slower than the video.

Additions: Both movies froze on screen just had sounds playing. Didn't seem like anything new. Thanks anyhow though. Looks like you went through a good deal of hassel to provide us with these videos (opcode at least). So again, thanks.

so perhaps wait with your downloads till new versions are up...

Afaik someone is fixing those vids, until then i suggest you do not dl them because they are really screwed up.
