[T:V] What is the unspoken rule regarding base rapage?

It's a beta. Unless you are testing something, why detract from other people's ability to test something? If it is a full server, have at it. If it is 5v5, just play around. There's no reason to ruin it for everyone in a beta.

The spoken rule in the remaining T2 classic servers is no rape before 10v10. The entire point of the rule is to keep maps from being boring and unenjoyable. Why can't people just respect this in T:V? If it's 5v5 or 7v7 and you're raping, you're an assclown plain and simple. There is no reason to annoy, aggravate, and otherwise ruin the fun for those trying to have it. Constantly spamming mortars around bases when there's nobody defending it and people just wanna goof around, is inexcusable. If HO'ing is your thing, then clear the flag, blow up vehicles, spam the stand, kill the farm. Let's stop being gay please.. it's not about whining, crying, and every other verb people use to describe those annoyed by the cheapness of the tactic in low-population games.

another valid point, you can repair like 12 things at once in the base, so who cares.

7v7 up to 10v10 is being put forward as the possible dominant competition format. Surely then, it makes sense to try out the game full go at 7v7?

I see people complaining about base rape ALL the time on full servers....if the complainers have a problem with it, perhaps they should try actually defending. it's pretty easy to rape gens when there is 0 defense, no turrets setup, etc.
