Will there be Flag discing in T:V?

My apologies if this has been answered before...

Is flag discing going to happen in T:V, or is it an immutable? Thanks in advance -Thrax/Irrational. Your responses are always appreciated.

Anyways, I think that flag discing is a negative.

Let's look at this. Thrax answers questions regarding T:V in this forum. Occasionaly someone from IG will pop in. Duh.

And I don't need to add his name to get attention. Just the fact the MY name is here, will get attention. In addition I've found that on forums, and IRC, as in real life - people tend to respond when you address them straight up.

Devs don't like threads with their name in the title, especially Menzo. If you made a thread "So, what do you think about flag discing?", there would be a better chance of a dev responding.

Rodent, as already answered, you can't disk the flag around like in T2. However you can grapple it while it is in the field to return it, or to grab it (almost a requirement in Rabbit).

Because disking a dropped flag into an enclosed space with no realistic means to bring it out until it is automatically returned is Good Gameplay.

That's one change I'm very happy to hear. I'm now 4-for-23. ;)

And nofog wasn't just to make it easier to see dropped flags and people, but to allow the user to see more of the breathtaking visual splendor in each map.

Please share the other uses found for a moveable flag.

Sooting the flag would be awesome if you were thr only one who could do it.

Having 2 or more people shoot the flag is random mindlessness. The only use would be for D to shoot the flag into the corner. Forget up discing for a pickup though.

I was able to retrieve many, many, many flags because of the shootable flag.For example when I kill capper and the flag lands on top of the stonehedge base and if I know I wont beable to get on the base in time to retrieve it because of too much momentum, not enough jets or if the enemy is about to pick it up.Im able shoot the flag off the base down to where Im going to be landing.

This is only one example on one map that Im able to do because of the shootable flag.And now will be nerfed for god knows what.
