Gui Customization and moving Huds

Right now all of this is .ini controlled and it makes it hard to edit the ini and restart the game etc (unless you can exec an .ini and have it update?)...in the final release are they going to have an ingame interface to do this?

I'm curious about the possibilites for movie-maker.

1.) Will there be an option to turn off all huds?
2.) Will there be an inbuild option to take screenshots (sorta like borjsutmovie.cs did)?
3.) I'm not sure, but i think UT had a console command to output an .avi file while watching recordings. Is this option still available?

I like the alt hud. rename altribeshud.ini to tribeshud.ini in the system folder.

yeah dragon, its just easier to move on screen.

i hope that if you try to customize anything in the game it blows up your pc & everything around it in a 5 block radius
this will deter cheaters a bit more (lw)

The rets have looked suprisingly dynamic (though bland as any game). All I can say. :)

I didnt say they were hard...I said editing ini's and restarting every time to test is a hassle.

I wonder if there is a way to reload the hud. i.e. you alt-tab and make a change, then alt-tab back and reload the ini.

You should know better than to think all I do is complain. I loved T2 and once looked forward to T:V. The more I know about T:V the less I like it. I'm still reserving my final opinion on the game for when I actually get a chance to play the beta.

Right now I'm looking at a Unreal engine game that slightly resembles the game I loved. My attitude is made worse by reading some of the changes they've made, seeing who they picked for beta and realizing just how little this game has to offer a non-Tribes player over any other MP game out now.

Lou just quit reading the forums for the next week or so. Then you will have the Beta and i think you will feel alot better.
