T2 Lifespan

I played a loada T2 when it first came out but when i went away to university i turned to different FPS (DoD - I realise now how wrong i was!). Since then i have a massive tribes 2 revival, partly becuase i saw tribes vengeance was coming out.

I guess what i really wanna know is how much life do you think is left in T2? Im just getting back into it and its really fun - i mean dont get me wrong im gunna buy T:V - it does look pretty awsome. but do you think people will abandon T2? Is T1 still going strong? Id like to think that it will keep going.

Also anyone know some good scripts to use? ive never used any before and want to get some to make things that bit simpler.

I think you can consider T1 and T2 as dead when T:V comes out....

Both wil survive, but only because of the T:V mods :)

T2 is already standing on it's last leg and its been cut down to the knee.

there will be plenty of ppl that wont have computer enough to run t:v that will continue to play t1, t2, or both

I think i'll always go back for a t1 kickaround if t:v is as good as im hoping it is.

Kinda like quakeworld, i'll still go give it a play every once in awhile.

I think every game keeps a few stragglers. But, there's nothing wrong with playing all 3 Tribes games from time to time!!!

you weren't here for t2's release... i was... there will still be ppl that play t2 because they can't upgrade their computers to play t:v.... you'll figure it out... eventually

It's still a better game then 90% of whats out there now. Having said that, its dead.

zod are you gonna tweak the t:v mod to more closely match t:v now that you have... "privileged" information?

You know... I think they could construe any changes to that mod from the point where he joined the beta to be violations of the NDA...
