Next summer it is to be released starring Christian Bale. Initially I had high hopes that possibly they would return Batman to how he should be, but after seeing the pictures for the new Batmobile, I am sad to say I doubt they will.

It's believeable, and more in line with what a real-world batman could develop.

Besides, it's silly to discount this movie based merely on the look of Batman's car. By that logic, we should have expected Batman and Robin to be good because it had a "cool" looking Batmobile.

The new Batman costumes are fine, but I'm not sure wtf they were thinking while designing the Batmobile :\

This is not a fruity movie like the past couple, don't judge it so just because the Batmobile looks different.

It's ignorant.

that was a vehicle designed by the wayne Defense division or something, apparently there are a few prototype batmobiles in the movie.

The cast of this movie alone should keep your expectations up. Ken Watanabe, Michael Caine, Gary (fucking) Oldman, Morgan Freeman

hell yah, Gary Oldman is the fucking man.

And yep, its been discussed plenty of times before that that is only one of the many different vehicles Batman has in the film.

This has already been explained. It's not "the batmobile" so to speak. This movie takes place before the previous 4, when Bruce was still young. He returns from years of training or whatever and resumes his rightful place as the head of Wayne Enterprises.

The "bat mobile" is a prototype armored vehicle designed by the technology division and he tries it out fighting crime.
