LivTyler 06-22-2004, 03:03 PM Next summer it is to be released starring Christian Bale. Initially I had high hopes that possibly they would return Batman to how he should be, but after seeing the pictures for the new Batmobile, I am sad to say I doubt they will.

Besides, it's silly to discount this movie based merely on the look of Batman's car. By that logic, we should have expected Batman and Robin to be good because it had a "cool" looking Batmobile.

This has already been explained. It's not "the batmobile" so to speak. This movie takes place before the previous 4, when Bruce was still young. He returns from years of training or whatever and resumes his rightful place as the head of Wayne Enterprises.
The "bat mobile" is a prototype armored vehicle designed by the technology division and he tries it out fighting crime.
