can you train your hair to sit a certain way?

if your hair tends to fall forward, can you "train" it to generally lie back or something of that nature? my hair is kind of thick, so it grows and is hard to keep back or up, but i've heard you can force it one way or another, and after long enough it'll start to naturally lie/grow, in that general direction, is this true?

thats a good question

unfortunately for you, the lack of a good answer means that this is actually a bad question since it can only have a bad answer

good luck next time, though

Yes it is true. Keep a comb on you at all times and keep combing in the direction you want. Hats also help to keep the hair in the direction you want.

Might not work with cow licks though.

Go see a good hairdresser, not Supercuts, and have them recommend hairstyles, products and cuts that would work with your hair.

yes, you can "train" it to sit a certain way. if you keep styling it a particular way with gel that actuallys HOLDS it the way you want it to, after a couple of weeks it should start growing in that way. worked for my hair and i have thick hair.

yay, do you have to keep it that direction constantly or just when you style it for the day?
