I'm curious to see if the game is actually playable and enjoyable for Vets. If so, i'm also curious to see which VET teams will survive and how many new teams will arise. Will there be an acceptance of new players with talent, or will old horses go out to pasture and die. Should be interesting either way.

Only time will tell if competition fun lasts, but the reviews at www.bittah.com yesterday showed that vets like the game overall.

I'm sure there will be new teams in addition to the old teams that are coming back.

Not even Miss Cleo is going to be able to predict how teams will shape up. Way too many complicated variables to consider. However, there is one thing that anyone can comment on from experience with T2.

A large number of players that were new to Tribes showed up in T2 that made it to top teams, and filtered throughout. Without doubt the same thing will happen in T:V.

I hope alot of new teams sign up, and big groups that dominate in multiple games (3d, suave even tho they are dead, etc) hop in and start new teams etc. Initially alot of teams composed of good t1-t2 players and the classics that dominated t1-t2 will be up top I think, but after a year I believe alot of the others will catch up :)

I will break the newbloods' backs with the iron rod of the old school.

I dunno how teams will form up (although I fully expect to see 5150 give it a good run to see how it fares in high-level competition), but wherever my old friends from Renegades competition will be, I'll make my best effort to join them. I also may give the Disciples of Ben another run, although being a leader is hard work.

Yea if you pay attention to what you're supposed to be doing.

"AkumA aren't you supposed to be doing Heavy O?"

"Yea!"

"Then why are you on a scout?"

Hmm... Thought you were good at everything Jodo? Either that or you've never "card" much for spelling, or typing, one of the two.

There is nothing inherently gay about RAPING a man in the ass. It's when you cuddle afterwards that you need to start worrying.

3d and suave/smf were never good and still arent

they just got recognition because they played when nobody mediocre competed against them.

I'm starting one. If you want to join send me a demo of your leet playing skillz, and I'll decide whether or not you're worthy to serve alongside the great SpadeX. ;)

Seriously, I'm picking this game up the day it comes out, and I'm going to try to get on a team so I can be involved in comp play.

You're right, teams that won alot of cash from competitive gaming as a whole, in tournaments and competitions that a lot of people tried to win must have sucked. It's one thing to not like a few teams, but to say they weren't good when records show otherwise is pretty stupid.
