Just wondering if TV will include critters e.g birds, lizards, butterflies, mosquitoes, flies, bees etc. Just to make the world look more alive. Looks kinda lifeless at moment

Mosquitoes? Wouldn't those be kinda hard to see?

no. they get splattered on you visor thing as you ski through them, and if you are going to fast they can crack your faceplate and go up your nose into your brain!

Of course there are creeps! If you kill them you get experience points and they also drop tomes to improve your abilities!

You've got the flag, you're rounding a corner, and... OH SHIT! It's a cow.

Why don't you go play a sim game if you want a world that looks alive? I think the only way you could make a more retarded idea is to suggest we all take a tea break halfway into maps

Can the cow have tea with us?

Personally, I think adding various creeps would make the game feel a bit more real. Tribes never was really made to feel real though. It may just detract from gameplay. Instead of aiding the capper, you decide to see how far you can make a sheep fly with the buckler.

Now, little clusters of mosquitos and stuff WOULD be good. You basically make the bugs fly around a bit when you run through thick grassy areas. Then, perhaps, put some random fish in the water that you can't interact with, but will swim away when you pass by them. toss in a few unreachable birds and you've got yourself a more real feeling map that doesn't change gameplay.

Waste of graphics resources. When I'm trying to shoot down a capper, I'd prefer not to be distracted by the birds in the sky. If anything, the only thing I want moving on the screen at long range is the enemy.

The only critter I would ever accept in TV would be a Panda bear with Thrax's head on it

There's a dead bird in one of the screenshots!!!!!

Duck Hunt Mod comes to mind. See who can chain the most birds out of the sky!
