gonbot 0.3p (T:V Style)

i'm just running on a laptop and i'm not sure if it'll be worth it..

i tried it out.. it is too cluttered in 800x600 so i had to move up to 1024x768, but it works and i'm still getting decent fps.. so ty andew

You shouldn't notice any FPS drop unless you are going to start using all the T2 weapon and player models. Hudbot's default stuff shouldn't change anything really, it doesn't add any polygons.

is there anyway to run hudbot besides manually starting it every time you play tribes..

could i just have it automatically run when windows starts and minimize to systray or something?

You can't get it to start and go right to the tray... but if you create a Hudbot.bat file in notepad and put this in it:
start hudbot.exe
start tribes.exe
exitand then put the file in your main Tribes folder you can just run it and it will load hudbot and tribes for you.

Ya just add a shortcut to hudbot in your startup folder which should be in your start/programs

No little arrows indicating friend/foes will show up on mine :( any suggestions?

The Bad guys were removed off the little mini map cuz off excessive cheating?

Does this lil mini map/radar thing work exactly like the old Command screen in how it shows the good guys everywhere and the bad guys when we have in site of a sensor or player? Otherwise, how could that be cheating? Im only talking in ctf of course. I geuss maybe in rabbit/tr you could always "know" where the guy is at and spam nades n stuff at him if hes behind a wall... but if it doesnt show locations unless they are within sensor/player sensors... why disable it? :\

whats with the orange/blue dots under that heavies feet in the last screen shot on the hudbot page? ;) new/upcoming stuff?

Doesn't show enemies at all unfortunately. :( Andrew can't you throw in a check to see if they're picked up on the sensor? Must just be a little flag value somewhere in there...

Andrew I'm curious as to why didn't you include support for all the t2 weapon models? It seems sort of silly to include disc but not chaingun..

Thats fine for making it automatically start, but there's no way to make it automatically start in systray.

You can make it start minimized (to task bar) but not to system tray :(

Oh well, I just leave it running all the time. Not like I can't spare the processor/RAM it takes :rolleyes:
