(T:V) space ships?

space & ships != spaceships

Think dropships from the original. No reason why those can't be different.

No new vehicles, though: I would hate to see new "spacecraft" made simply for a gametype.

I think its pretty obvious based on the information we have seen thus far that the only place the Imperial Yacht (http://www.tribesroleplayers.org/gallery/tvconcepts/imperialcruiser) appears is in a cutscene or two in SP. I suppose we might see a SP level actually take place in an interior that is part of that ship, but I wouldn't expect to be able to jump outside and do battle on the hull or fly out of its fighter bay or any thing of that sort. For multi that particular model just doesn't seem to lend itself to an MP map, and so far we've not seen a single screenshot with dropships in it so I'm pessimistic about their possible return. I'd love to see them show back up, but somehow I doubt it.

As far as the real history is concerned, yes all the Tribes have space navies, though naturally some are larger and more apt to have capital ships of that size than others.
