How much does teh buckler reflect the so called attack, ie is it the same return velocity as the projectile velocity of the object hitting the buckler? Lucius is right, volleyball. In tennis, the ball is allowed to hit the ground once and remain in play ;). Though for T:V Volleyball you'd need a large (prolly 150m x 300m, maybe a little smaller) court and a proportionally scaled net... as well as a couple rule changes. I can see it already. You start in formation server, is in heavy. Mortar is modified to have changing power, click to start meter, release to serve. You can either serve high lob shots to be sure to clear the net, or speedy flat arc shots that just clear the net. You can only touch the shell 3 times before it detonates, or you get it over the net. You can "spike" the ball by grappling it and using the line to sling it over the net (net plane must be coded to break grapples, to prevent people from slinging it absolutely straight down just on the other side of the net every time). | ||
