[T1] connection trouble

Whenever I'm playing and i try to join a base server i get a message that says that I have the wrong sniper.dts file. It's really pissing me off. I searched through my tribes folders and I don't even have a sniper.dts file. Anybody have suggestions?

go into your tribes folders and make sure nothing is highlighted then type s n i p e r then u should be able to locate it.

Searched as in, looked yourself for it, or searched right clicked on your Tribes directory, went to Search and typed in sniper.dts?

I think though you could probably google sniper.dts and find nice replacement for it. Haven't tried myself though.

It will give you that error if you're using your own sniper.bmp as well. You'll need a CRC bypass if that's the case.

I looked through it myself. I'll try the crc bypass, I thought I had one, but I just re-did all my shit, so we'll see. Thanks

Just delete everything in skins folder, everything in temp, and if there is any .bmps or .dts in base folder.

There are other directories that execute besides those, but that's a bit excessive to fix such a minute problem anyway.
