[T1] no skin for certain weapons?

is it possible for their to be no skin for the disclauncher? so you arm it and it's just like you're holding nothing?

A skin is a texture.

You want no model. I believe KOS made a 1x1x1 pixel model a long time ago. I have no idea where to get it though.

i find that i use the disc incorrectly cause it's on my right. when i forced myself to imagine it down the middle i hit way more shots

considering it fires almost perfectly straight, i want it at a more accurate location (which preferably would be sticking out down the middle of my body, which is way more difficult than blank) so i'm just going with blank

that's the dumbest thing i've ever heard. the only thing that matters is that your reticle is in the middle of the screen. do you aim by looking at the disc launcher? i personally use the reticle.

i adjust because of the way the disklauncher is positioned

i've done it ever since i was a newbie, and therefore it's very very hard to try to adjust out of it.. i'm just used to it. no skin will probably speed up the process

Actually, idsoftware found through extensive research done in the early 90s (around the Doom/Doom2/Quake era) that having the weapon model in the middle of your screen allows players to interpolate the projectile triangulation velocity with greater ease and thus shifted their weapons all to the right such that symmetrically made weaponry wouldn't aide in projectile triangulation and further exacerbate the already prolific interpolation craze.

It's too bad Tribes fell victim to the interpolation/projectile triangulation downward spiral despite having shifted weapon models to the right-hand side.

Any idiot knows that there would be no triangulation if the weapons are symmetrical to the target. Quit trying to sound smart.

Ah true, counting weapon symmetry as one of the axes of triangulation, that would lead to a projectile dualation velocity. My apologies to you and the rest of the idiots on this board.
