It's also a great way to tell who's never played before! If you kill them and they still hadn't used their health pack, you know you could give them some helpful advice! Such as giving up and never returning as it's obvious they'll never compare to you.

It's a nice review. Sounds like the game was pretty solid for being in pre-alpha form which is cool. I got a better understanding of somethings.
Turtle = lose though. Mortar power should always be the great uqualizer in this situation.

Th3Cleaner 05-17-2004, 06:14 PM I played it as well, and I must say I was pretty impressed with the graphical ease of your new load out system, the vehicles drive and fly just like Unreal 2004. the swooping is that of UT2004, all you guys playing UT2004 will have a easy go at it.
The skiing was really cool, the weapons were cool, not much different then you would expect but.. thats what will bring it back as a very playable game, good game play like T1 but with todays engine.

What Perrin fails to mention is the Repair turrets deployed in the room and the fact theres an emergency station also in the room.
