kinda ironic considering u were  the first 3 pages of this thread. r your feelings hurt by internet teenagers, that your only defence is sarcasm? here's a lolypop.First, Musashi didn't hurt my feelings. Second, he's most definitely not a teenager. Third, I'm sure that nothing I can say to Mushashi or he could say to me would hurt either of our feelings - I may piss him off, but you have to care about somebody's opinion to be hurt by it. Forth is a Firth (http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/buildingbig/wonder/structure/firthofforth2_bridge.html ) in Scotland. Finally, nice use of "u" and "r", it lends serious weight to your post.

I was pretty tired of T1 at about the time T2 came out. I've had my ups and downs with T2, but still like it a lot, maybe because I just never played is as much as T1 :p
If T:V would be the same as either I'd be bored silly within a couple of months probably. I want a new and different game to make it interesting again for the long run. From what I've seen it looks like fun and we will all just have to learn some new skills. That doesn't sound terribly bad to me.
There is just no point in complaining what is not in the game compared to old Tribes games, but I'd rather work with what is in the game and take the fun from there.
And for anyone complaining to this DEV team on why they made some decisions, nobody really bothered the peeps from Dynamix the first time around to say it should be more like quake because that was what they were used to, because it just was another FPS.
IG makes a game and invests a lot to make that game. As far as I can see they are entitled to make this game any way they see fit. The fact that we are consulted or asked for our opinion is an added bonus and luxury they do not have to give if they want.
Like it has been said before, if you don't like the new game, you are more then welcome to continue playing the old games T1 and T2. It's what I will do, if T:V isn't as much fun as I hope it will be. (I do not expect that of course :D)

Whay thank you Yogi :) I know there's a lot of work to still be done, and I get owned all the time during in-house testing, but the game is already a lot of fun... :)
(Actually the ranking usually goes Russ>Designers>Artists>Programmers whenever we test-play. I'll probably get my arse kicked for saying so too :))
The only reason programmers are not the best is that they are polite and don't make you UE even though they could. :D
