Round is good

I promised some people I'd copy/paste this thread from the so called "official" forums (that no one uses are likes). It was made by LogRoller and while it is not necessarilly on topic, it is too funny to miss.


I like round things. I think that Tribes should have more round weapons in it. Also, the people should be round. It would be best if they were round all over, and not just a little round in some places. It goes without saying that the vehicles should be round. Lots and lots of round vehicles, with teamwork.

Also, there should be ten armors. I like the number ten. I have ten fingers and ten toes, so it would be easy to count the number of armors. Also they should all be the same color to prevent cheating.

I think we need more tribes. Diversity is a core value of our society. Maybe we could have some black tribes and white tribes and they could fight, like in the old days.

When this game comes out, I know it will suck. That is why I am making a mod for it already that is based on valuable community input like my own. Without people like me, companies would go bankrupt because giant faceless corporations do not listen to the little guy like me and all of their customers. If corporations were round and diverse, life would be a better place to live.

I wrote that because the people at the T:V forums on the Vivendi board are overly critical of a game about which they know little to nothing. They are extrapolating their future enjoyment on the basis of something that they have not yet actually tried, which is foolish. And the best part is that they often bring street cred to the table like, "I made this mod that 10 people play," or "I played on the TWL ladder and my team made it to number 21 ho ho!"

So I wrote this post, entitled, "Tribes should be more like what I think it should be". It is meant to be satire. The end.
