[T:V] Vehicle warfare

I wonder if TV vehicle wars would be fun. If they are, maps can even be dedicated for vehicle wars.

Vehicles was overpowered in T2 and I understand. Shrikes just dominates. But for T;V, I think all of them are good for killing each other (not sure about the rover.)

The gunships would be an airfortress based on its 2 flak cannons. Unlike the scene of shrikes against a bomber, I think the gunship might have chance to win against several PODs. For the jump tank, I heard its secondary weapon would be flak cannon as well. Which means good anti air capability. I would like to see epic vehicle battles actually.

Of course I don't intend make vehicles in every maps useful cause it will ruin the game as the onslaught of UT 2k4. I just wonder if few maps that are dedicated to vehicle warefare may be fun.

Don't forget the sky-ponies lol

The word epic used in anything to describe Tribes makes me shudder in fear.

Epic used only to describe the company from whom we licensed the engine.

Fair enough.

Didn't even realize that untill you mentioned it, kind of weird.

Like it or not in a marketing context, Tribes IS epic, far more so than UT2K4 and Quake and the like.

No FPS in the history of man lets your ego and your mastery of three-dimensional combat shine like Tribes.

You're not playing it right, then.

You're not playing it right if you're not saying "Missed me!" every time a shot whizzes by your head.

You're not playing it right if you're not saying "I've had worse!" every time you get mine-disced, every time you get mortared, every time your team gets capped out 8-0 in five minutes.

You're not playing it right if you don't exalt yourself as the next step in human evolution every time you nail a long-distance MA.

Embrace your ego! Humility is for chumps! You're not a chump, are you, boy?
