u buddy ur buddy through the console and their there untill u console them out.

from that point ur buds are always green. everything is green the buddy icon, text, etc......

I like this idea. If they do deside to do it though, I would prefer it to be an outline or something, and not changing the color of the arrow, because that could become confusing.

For example:

Buddy list changes the color to light blue instead of the normal green and red.

Your buddy is on the opposite team, and instead of his arrow being red it is the light blue of your buddies, thus making you hesitate to shoot him, allowing the people on his team to shoot you, and vise versa.

Like I said, that is only an example. But the outline idea is great :D

On an unrelated note, I think we all should take a look at the forums we're reading. Friends could be very well marked by a yellow dot inside the IFF.

I would also like to see a Buddy Finder in T:V much like the one that is in T1. Type in a name, it scans the servers for that name and puts some kind of indicator next to the server (eye balls in T1).

buddy finder for server yes, in game... neh, i think that would degrade the game. you'd end up with people just fudgeing around with buddies instead of playing.

and if it WAS in, you better be able to turn it off... cuz come competition time, i would assume your entire team is on your buddy list.
