another t2 install error, help

When I run the install file it gets to around 20% or so then says "An I/O error occured while installing the file. This is usually caused by bad installation media or corrupt installation file"

I know I downloaded the whole thing, not sure why I get this error...

If your download is corrupt (bad packet or something) it's the only way to fix it.

not sure why it'd be corrupt, seemed to download fine, trying again now though

well I redownloaded and it installed

now, is there a reason I only see one server when I went to try to play?

Try switching master servers to US West if you're on US East.

hm, and that would be done how?

ok, I finially got some servers, probably 50 or so

but under the status part of the menu, they are all red x'd


basically it's timing out when it tries to query the servers

Firewall issue perhaps?

not sure, it pings them fine, and I can connect to the t2 authorization server

just times out when it tries to query them

what could I change in my router if that was the problem, it's a D Link DI-624

I have my ip address in a DMZ, so I don't think the firewall is an issue

alright, I took my ip out of the DMZ and it works fine now
