Ltb: Pc2100 Ram

Does anyone have some non-crappy PC2100 RAM they're willing to part with? I'll settle for PC133 too if necessary. It's just for a basic email/solitaire/surfing machine.

i think pc133 is actually more expensive than pc2100 at this point. 512 mb pc2100 is about $120.00 at compusa now, 512mb pc133 is about $150.00

Yeah, since they don't make PC100/133 much any more (if at all) it's a little more now, but if it's laying around collecting dust then I'll take it off your hands :) I can get 256 megs of pc2100 off newegg for $50, but I don't really care to pay that much more into this thing. I only have about $150 in this as it is.

You may be right, but CompUSA is a poor litmus test for the RAM market.

i'll have 512 mb of samsung pc2100 from dell early next week probably.

This machine is a piece-meal anyway, so however much is fine. 256 is likely more than enough, 512 would just be that much more. I'll gladly pay shipping and a little extra for it. newegg has 256 pc2100 for $51.00 shipped, so I'd like to keep it well under that. I was just hoping someone had some laying around doing nothing that I could get a good deal on, if not, oh well. I have a veritable shitload of really old RAM and other hardware laying around if you want to trade too.
