[T1] Internet Connection Error

When i go to query the master server in t1 it says that i was unable to contact the master server and to please verify my internet connection. I just installed updated to 1.11 and everything. Do i manually need to do something or do a need a patch or something?

do you run a firewall? If you do, make sure that Tribes is allowed access to the internet. If you don't............I have no idea :( sorry

One of my friends who just downloaded the game has the same problem. He's patched to 1.11 and tried disabling his firewall with no luck. He has to use ASE to connect.

why the hell did the patch not come out with 1.11 updated in it?

because sierra executives are cheap idiots who "lost" the source code to the greatest game of all time and can't "afford" to look for it, get someone from the community to tidy it up, and release it (or even incorporate new installer/mappacks/jump script and other basics before re-releasing)

Yeah, thats the way I play T1 as well

Cos of using a DSL router, and it blocks a lot of ports.

All Seeing Eye solved the problem for me!
