Tribes 2 Down?

Well this just destroyed the TWL Oceania 7 man tourney 2nd round. It is a real pity that Sierra could have given us some warning.Sorry Vurt. They didn't even give me any notice. I found out when I read it here :(

Well it was up a minute ago and now it's back down weird. I find it a bit funny that you didn't know though Thrax heh. Those technicians just go crazy sometimes don't they?

Well, I um... er.... remember having a game called, um... pong? Anyone who used to frequent "video arcades" and has had "defender thumb" might know where I'm coming from. If you've ever been to Chucky Cheese and ate pizza on a Pac-Man video game table... YOU KNOW MAN... you know.

if they are completely relocating then how am i still logged in? i'm the only one left in here that hasn't logged out too

You can still be logged in because those servers are only used to check your reg info (I think)

they back up? there were up for a few hours last night..then went back down again....had to cancel our match :(

(that UDP workaround seems to make your ping jump about 50 or so)

It taunts me by being up when I'm just checking and not really in the mood for a game, and now off when I wish to play. This is the true definition of evil.

How the hell can the update servers be up but the reg server is down? What kind of sense does that make?????

Its still down for me, shame too because I wanted to play this weekend since its the last I will be able to play for a few weeks.

bah! now it seems the login server is down! i cant even get to the part where it says authorizing!!

Yeah this kinda sucks. I get in start playing have to get out for a UE error ,and then I can't log back in. I got so mad I started laughing... I sure as hell hope T:V isn't going to be like this when they get started up.... Oh well back to playing the Ol XBox for a while.
