I made the GUI system that is used by both games.
are you allowed to talk about the ingame GUI? What im trying to ask is, is there a easy to use, noob friendly voting GUI and server settings GUI like in the 2 previous tribes?

I wish more people would have played Thin Ice and Recal.

They don't sound suited to T:V, they are better suited to Tribes 2's type of slower play. In T:V they'd just screw up the quicker action for everyone else. (My opinions here)

who cares. the ability to be rendered invisible is just too awesome to let go. And u have to love those one shot kill SLs into backs.

They're dead. They don't (and never really) belong in a Tribes game.

My friend, far be it from me to criticize a Member who takes a cheap shot at Yogi.

I would be careful with the timing of my tongue-lashing, though -- our friend with the yellow tag has a remarkably short fuse at certain phases of the moon. You are a Member, and are far more vulnerable than me to his malevolent, smelly, wholly unattractive evil power. (No offense, Yogi.)

Still, I sucked at cloaking, so I don't miss the cloak pack terribly, and I'm getting my energy blade, which I will abuse the hell out of, so I can't say I will miss the shocklance too badly anymore.

I dunno, I just kinda cringe when I hear people threatening to kill threads because people bring up an unpopular topic. If there's one thing that gets under my skin quicker than parasitic nanomachines of my own creation, it's thought-police mentality.

I'm just laying out a warning about a topic that has not only been discussed to death, but won't ever go anywhere. I'd prefer to a) keep the discussion to the topic of the thread and b) keep the topics as useful and relevant as possible.

Hmmmmm. For a historically in-house Sierra product it's interesting to note that they are not mentioned once in this press release.It's produced out of the Bellevue office still.

alingis wern't you one of the mappers at t2maps.com recruited or something? I seem to remember people there being asked to help with the game at one point.
