question on gunship flying capabilities

will it be more like a plane, or more like a helicopter?

im imagining in my mind, something more like a helicopter, able to position itself in tight spots and hover, while the gunners take care of business. If its the helicopter style. (im thinking helicopter because of the the big wing pods that could possibly allow it to do so)


now, if its like a plane, im picturing a slow flying but still agile, something that flys low, but if it reduces speed too much, will stall.

I can only imagine the hover and go flight systems were retained (Oh for the love of god how I hope these strange things). It would make getting in to a gunship rather difficult if you could only do it when it was on the ground :shrug:

So long as you can mount and routinely dismount the Gunship while its moving without getting flattened by it. Oh how I hate boarding a stationary HAVOC only for it to "sway in the breeze" alittle and turn me into chunky salsa smeared on the hood.

I'm not clear on what it's good for. Chasing? MGs seem better for soft targets and wose for turrets etc.

I wonder if you can repair the vehicle while in the vehicle?

I'm also wondering what kind of shot those guns fire. It seems to me that for a non splash damage type one to work it would have to be amazingly powerful and thus border on lame (especially against other vehicles) so I'd guess splash but it doesn't look like a splash weapon.
