I don't understand, can you explain this again? Is the buckler a pack?

I've read all the posts and I'm still confused about why anyone would want to use the boomerang function on the buckler. What are the advantages? What kind of situation is it meant for?

Buckler: A weapon that is thrown, doing damage to your opponent when it strikes them. While held, it can reduce the damage taken by the holder, and causes additional knock back in player to player collisions.

If its off it shields 20% if its on it shields 90% (not sure on %'s)

When you are equipped with the SP, you get an automatic protection that lasts forever, as long as the pack is equipped.

When the pack is ON (aka Activated --> Like in T1/T2 the Repair Pack is 'on' when u are repairing stuff), you get a large percentage of protection. This lasts as long as your energy allows.

My last question: Is the Bucklers knockback actually knockback (ie. shocklance) or does it just give you more "weight" in collisions (ie. heavy won't run you over)?

When you wear a shield pack it's like being in star trek on the enterprise but you're not in battle or anything but you still have sheild in case some klingons appear and fire phasers at you.

But then when the borg come Picard is like "Sheilds up!" and then your sheilds are at like 100% in case the borg fire photon torpedos or super borg technology at you. But you can't ALWAYS have sheilds at 100% b/c that would take too much power.
