tippmann rocks and is a great begginer gun

tippmann use to make machines before they made guns so their guns are all sturdy as hell and awsome

I have a Tippman 98 in excellent condition with a 20 oz tank and 2 barrels for sale. $100 shipped. It would've been slogg's, but he's a dumbshit. <3

best progression you'll ever do in paintball (i had a tippmann prolite wayyy back when)

spyder --- > automag (optional) ---> autococker ----> e-cocker, angel, etc (i prefer e-orracle (autococker), great gun :))

Reason being- more parts in a spyder, and its still shit easy to take apart, and if your friend ever wants to get really serious in the sport, its a good idea to know how the whole thing works, working with multiple parts that might be small (but in a spyder super ez to get back together). Getting into an autococker and disassembling/reassembling for your first time is a nightmare, that + timing it, etc. I think (me) having used this spyder/upgrading it/cleaning/learning how the guns work was great.

I have a Tippmann A-5 with a flatline barrel and responsive trigger.. and after some velocity tweaking it is the most accurate gun I have ever fired. and can dish out 30 rounds per second once I found the sweet spot on the trigger.

This sounds like a good deal.. would it be possible to get a picture of this gun?

it also depends on what kind of ball he wants to play, speed ball where you wan a lot of manuverability (if so, then i dont reccomend a tippmann) or woods ball, long range, aiming prolonged games

id say the gun is gunna be dependant on your play style

Automag 68 Standard Feed
-This is a great intermediate level gun, and has the simplicity of a beginner's gun. The gun is very easy to remove, clean, and put back together. Automags are also very sturdy and can withstand a beating.
- This marker has been used in a game maybe 5 or 6 times. I've used it to shoot targets about 10 more times.
J&J Stainless Steel Black 14" Ported Barrel
-J&J is a great barrel company. The ported barrel makes it shoot much quieter, the benefits of which you already know. I've gotten numerous remarks about how quiet the gun shoots.
Macroline Kit.
-Allows for gas to expand before it gets to the chamber. Also allows for the usage of a...
Drop Forward
-Balances the gun because it puts the tank on the bottom of the gun instead of right behind it. This also allows you to maneuver better and tighter.
VL 12V clear motorized Hopper + Clear Elbow
-I can't vouch for anyone else, but a a motorized hopper definitely helps. I don't have to jiggle the gun anymore when the paintballs refuse to go down the small hole. The clear hopper also lets you know how much paint you have left.

Tanks:
45CI 3000PSI Crossfire N2 Tank
12 Oz. CO2 Tank
9 Oz. CO2 Tank
The N2 tank, which i highly recommend over CO2, is more expensive.

MASKS:
Brass Eagle Xtreme Vision 280 "ZLeader" mask
JT nVADER Thermal mask

The marker I must sell as a whole set. However, you can add masks/tanks as you see fit.

I don't have a picture my personal nVADER mask nor of the motorized hopper, but I do have a pic of everything else.

This is what they look like though:

And here is the rest of my equipment:

I spent about 350 for the gun/hopper/drop forward/barrel. I'm willing to sell it for $250 but the price is very negotiable. I'll even toss in the two CO2 tanks and the ZLeader mask for free.
