Okay, here's the deal. My brother has an ibook G4 laptop 14 inches for work that he uses, while I have a P4 3.0 at home. What I'd like to know is if it is possible to buy a router that can distribute bandwidth between his OS X system and my win xp system. Since he is using a laptop it must be wireless also, and 802.11g is necessary as well.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

connect the pc via cat 5.
I have one of these, and I like it. Good range, doesn't seem to lag at all during file transfers or games (Its about the same file transfer speed in g mode as the wired 100mb switch). These are like 100 bucks, easy to administer, and fairly straight forward to setup. Once the router is set up make sure you enable ALL of the security features for the wireless connection. Some people have problems setting these up, but its usually b/c of not reading the manual. Don't believe all the bs you hear about wireless it never lags me in any game, and its only about 3-5mb/s slower than the 100mb wired connection during a several gig file transfer.
Make sure you read up on wireless networks before having to set one up though, and make sure you know if everyone and their dog on your block is using wireless b/c that WILL slow down your transfer speeds (idk how much).
