Just something so I can watch tv on my pc so I don't have to buy another tv for my office. I don't care if it's anything special.

I've got a creative labs Digital VCR card, it's a TV tuner that also allows you to record programs to the hard drive like a Tivo box. You can put TV on pause and resume where you left off while it continues to record the show you're watching. Has a remote control too. I've got an ATI all-in-wonder now so I don't need it anymore.

Works in Win98 -> XP

$50 shipped.

Here's the users guide if you want to take a look.

edit: and pic of card (IR cord plugs into card, optional for use of remote)

That is a little more than what I want. I don't care about recording, and all that jazz, I just want to watch tv on pc. Anybody got something more plain an cheaper :) ?

i am replacing my card out of my video editing machine. its an ati all in wonder 128 pro agp. its pre-radeon so i think its the rage chip. if you dont mind that its agp and can wait for new egg to deliver my new card(ordered an hr ago) i will give it to you.

if you were wanting pci, i have a friend at work that has a few and im sure i could snag one from him for nothing too.

You can always find STB TV+FM PCI tuner cards on eBay for $20 or less. I have one that came in a Gateway machine I've been using for a few years now and I love mine.

Doesn't really get any better than a 3month old All in wonder 9600 w/ box and everything for 100 shipped. I know thats over the price youre wanting to spend, but thats a damn good deal. I would buy it if i didn't already have a AIW 9800pro.

I just got home from work and I have the card.
Here's a like to it: http://www.hauppauge.com/Pages/support_pci_boards.html

It's the 878 chip. click the pic and it links you to the latest driver and application software since all I have is the board.

edit: I got your pm in time to be able to send it out today on the way to pick up the kids. You should have it in 2-3 days:)
